 | | 'D' Type Flying Gauntlets - RAF, Ref. 22C/771. Nice AM cloth labels with AID stamps. Excellent leather. These gloves have been mismatched at some stage, as one size difference between left and right, but they appear to have been worn as a pair.
 | | Luftwaffe WWII Flying Jacket - for Flight Over Water. Grey/Blue leather with Shearling lining and fur collar. The waist band has been replaced and the cuffs have leather repairs. Chest size 42" (107cm).
 | | Luftwaffe Flight Suit - post-war, nylon. To fit height: 6' (183 cm). Mint unissued condition.
 | | Luftwaffe Post-War Gloves - in grey leather with popper fastener, fabric lining, small size.
 | | Luftwaffe Flying Gauntlets - brown leather, unlined with tightening strap. Excellent original condition and a good size.
 | | Luftwaffe 'Fliegerkombi' - WWII Issue First Pattern, this pattern is associated with the Battle of Britain in "salt and pepper" fabric, with horizontal crotch zip. This suit is unusual in that it has been manufacturer modified - a ring pull emergency release system has been added. Manufacturer's label Striegel and Wagner with modification label to Karl Heisler, Berlin. The suit is stamped Fl-Gr.G6PP, which we think is the issue unit number. All the zips are original - it is superb condition. This early modified suit would be hard to better.
 | | Luftwaffe WWII Flying Boots - in very good original condition. Zips are in working order with original leather pulls, manufactured by Opti. The soles, which show signs of service wear, are marked "Original Wilop". Leather and suede uppers are in excellent shape - there is a period repair to the heel area of the right boot. Excellent fur lined interior. Manufacturer's label obscured, but approximate Size 9/10 (Continental 43/44).
 | | WWII German Military Life Vest - This type of jacket was issued by the Kriegsmarine, but they were also used by the Luftwaffe, both with the "Seenothilfe" (Search and Rescue Units) and by operational aircrew. An identical jacket has been excavated on the wreck of a Battle of Britain Bomber, to prove the point! Ours is in very good original condition - there is a fitted gas inflation bottle - all straps and buckles are in place, with no perishing to the fabric.
 | | Luftwaffe Brown Leather Service Belt - used by "other ranks", with alloy buckle bearing the Luftwaffe emblem. We bought this as an original item, but believe that the buckle may be a reproduction. We have priced, and are selling, on this basis. Ideal for re-enactment.
 | | USAAF Shearling Flying Jacket - lined, Ground Crew issue (mechanic's), Chest size 42" (107cm).
 | | USAAF Shearling Flight Jacket - lined ANJ4. This jacket, which replaced the B3, is the highest specification of all the Army Airforce jackets of WWII. Chest size 38" (97cm).
 | | Spalding Leather Flight Suit - made in USA c.1930's, some wear but generally in excellent original condition. To fit height 5' 6" (168cm).
 | | RCAF WWII Flying Overboots - lightning zips, brown leather upper/rubber galosh.
 | | USAAF Flying Gloves - WWII, A-9 Winter weight, Shearling lining, mitten/fingers.
 | | USAAF B3 Flight Jacket - WWII. This original jacket has a great patina and original label confirming contract date 1942. Interestingly, it has a period replacement zip manufactured by Dot and A.M. stamped! Size marked at 36" (92 cm) but seems to fit significantly bigger. We are told this jacket was used on the Monte Carlo Rally in the early 1950's.
 | | USAAF B3 Shearling Flying Jacket - WWII, lined, c.1943, single right hand pocket, waist straps, contrasting leather on upper arms. Chest size 42" (107cm). This jacket is about as good as they come - it has a particularly nice patina. It's the best example of the B3 that we've had.
 | | A-2 Flight Jacket - WWII Issue with completely original everything! Made by Aero Leather Clothing of Beacon NY. Marked 38R (97cm), Talon zips fitted and the distinctive red/rust knitted waist and cuff bands, associated with this manufacturer. The lining is also original, but is showing some wear. No rips or tears to the leather. A great vintage jacket in the sort of condition you dream about!
 | | USN M-422A Jacket - or maybe an early G-1? The manufacturer's label is still in place but we can not decipher it - either way, this is an early jacket in excellent condition. The lining has been professionally replaced and the badge is a modern replica; the "Vet" understandably wanted to keep his original squadron badge and name tag. Talon zip fitted and, while the jacket shows some service wear, overall it is in excellent shape. Size is marked at 40" (102cm) but seems to fit bigger. Knitted cuffs and waist band in good condition with USN stenciled behind the mouton collar. A great example of this classic Navy flight jacket.
 | | USAAF 'Chocolate' Tunic - in near mint condition with original badges. This jacket features a "lazy belt" incorporated within the pattern. The lining and interior are very clean and nicely labelled to "Phila. Quarter Master Depot" complete with inspection stamp and clearly dated 20th October 1941. Four embroidered service bars to left sleeve. Chest size 36-38" (91-97 cm). This tunic would be hard to better in any collection.
 | | USAF Issue L2-B Flying Jacket - dating from the 1960's. This jacket differs from the MA-1, in that it's not insulated, features epaulettes, and has a waist closing tab. This jacket was subsequently used by a British helicopter pilot in the Army Air Corps, so it has had a varied service career! Manufacturer's label, squadron and name patches removed, otherwise completely original with some service wear. 40" chest (102 cm).
