1067A Scrubbing Brush! - Click for the bigger pictureSoldA Scrubbing Brush! - unique item of WWII RAF Memorabilia, with Battle of Britain associations. A Scrubbing Brush which belonged to G. Gillingham, who flew Hurricanes with 46 Squadron - he was nicknamed "scrubby"! This brush was presented to him when he left the squadron - it was autographed by the surviving pilots under the caption "from the lucky ones". Purchased via the pilot's daughter. 46 Squadron, part of 12 Group, was based at Digby and Stapleford Tawney during the Battle of Britian.
