This brush was presented to him when he left the squadron - it was autographed by the surviving pilots under the caption "from the lucky ones". Purchased via the pilot's daughter. 46 Squadron, part of 12 Group, was based at Digby and Stapleford Tawney during the Battle of Britian. |
