She served with distinction in WWII, was directly involved in the sinking of the Bismarck 1941 and the D Day landings in 1944. Engraved on the base with original owner's name E.M.S. Windridge. She took part in the Battle of Jutland and in the early part of WWII - she was finally scrapped in 1948.
