RAF Gunner's Hood

Introduced in 1943 to protect turret gunners from the extreme cold. Designed to be used in conjunction with the RAF C type helmet and held in place by the two front goggle straps. It has provision for the oxygen tube to exit through the front of the mask. In very good condition with Dot zip fitted. An unusual and increasingly rare item of RAF flight clothing.
