RAF 'E' Type Flying Helmet

Stores Ref. 22C/974. This is the second pattern with an internal wiring loom - while marked as a Size 2, fits more like a Size 4. These helmets were intended for Coastal Command Air Crew, who often flew "Ops" of 10 hours, or more - the 'E' type was more comfortable to wear. Very clean condition inside and out.
